Today, Bin's uncle treated us to another dinner in Peach garden@33 in the Executives' Club. It's located in OCBC level 33. Very atas place. Yeah, no need to rush to work halfway through dinner this time!
Appetiser consists of fried eggplant with porkfloss which is surprisingly good!
2nd dish - Roasted golden suckling pig
3rd dish - Double-boiled Shark's Bone Cartilage Soup with fish maw in clay pot. The waitress individually heated each bowl before serving.
4th dish - Braised homemade beancurd with local spinach and crabmeat sauce
5th dish - Steamed Soon Hock Fish with superior soy sauce
6th dish - Stewed noodles with baby lobster, spring onion and ginger
7th dish - Chilled black glutinous rice with ice-cream in young coconut.

Yeah! My long awaited holiday has arrived! Now still packing for my trip to Taiwan...
Yesterday, Bin's uncle had a mini celebration in Civil Service Club and we were all invited. It's a Chinese styled many-course meal. I had to leave at the 6th dish as I'm working night that day.

After a short nap today, Ah Kor, Audrey, Anna, Terence, Brandon and I went to Parkway to shop.
Getting ready to leave..
Fussing over the Hello Kitty toy
My Brother bought mooncake today!
Champagne and Ginseng from Holiday Inn
Snowskin Lotus Seed Paste with Chocolate chip from Sheraton - quite nice and crunchy.
There are some things that are not easy to achieve. One of which is driving 70km/hr in Lornie Road.... Sigh... Kena again!

Our other members of the precious moment...
My favourite!
Yesterday Bin and I went to Sunset Way for dessert. Sunset Way has been deemed by some to be the next Holland V, though not as happening and crowded. We settled in this restaurant called Peaberry and ?something. Haha.. forgot the name as we've been calling it peabrain the whole night.
Tiramisu - As I mentioned before, I'm not a big fan but this is nice!
Souffle - was highly recommended by the waiter, though me and bin didn't really like it that much. It was sugar coated which is quite nice, but I didn't really like the fluffy egg white on the inside.

Yesterday we had an all girls' outing for Cai's farewell. She'll be flying to Japan for 6 weeks for her JAL training. Since she loves all-thing-Jap, I decided to bring her and the rest to Wacha. Poor Shuling has to stay home to nurse her metatarsal fracture.Cai and WachaWe mainly went there for tea since it's only 4pm. I ordered the ice macha au lait $10, while Joan and Lynn ordered the hot green tea. Some of us shared green tea cheesecake (yummy!) and green tea gratin (nice!). I must say that the food is better than the drinks. What is not so nice is that beside not serving water, they also don't allow the share of drinks! Our drinks and cheesecakeGreentea GratinFugasaka tea cupsThen we hopped over to nearby Chinatown for a walk. Discovered a is-it-new? temple - Buddha tooth relic temple. Me being rather Suaku hasn't heard about this temple before but apparently it is quite famous and it holds the sacred buddha tooth which we can see on the 4th storey. When we went up, we didn't manage to see it as they were doing some chanting with the relic. The Zodiac lantern outside the temple. Me and Seahry are roosters! The 3 younger ones are doggies! Then we discovered the German sausage place. So excited! The cheese sausage is excellent *drooling*. The chef is so cute!Although we have just eaten a lot, dinnertime is still here. So we went over to Maxwell market for dinner. Cai recommened Benny - which serves italian food. My beef goulash with apple coleslaw and mashes potato $5After having eaten the whole day, we decided we can't go to another food place. So we went to Pitstop instead, which is a boardgame cafe. Played cranium for the first time. Love it! My kind of game - intellectually stimulating. I also love trivial pursuit and Boggle, but I can't find many people who are willing to play with me for long. haha... maybe one day I shall invest in Cranium and ask people to come play with me. Cranium involves rolling the die, moving the piece and answering questions. There are 4 main categories of questions. Red - Facts. For example, who said "I will fight forever no more." 1) Chief Joseph 2) Winston Churchchilll 3) Benito Mussolini. Answer is 1). I guess it! There's no way Churchchill and Mussolini will stop fighting. Haha.. at least history-dummy me thought so. Green is performance - for example you must hum a tune of a song for your team members to guess, or you must charat something. We had to hum "Star wars theme song" and "That's the way (I like it)". Blue is creative which is my favourite category. like pictionary or sculpture with the playdoh to let the others guess. I got limbo for sculpture and I did a pole with a person going under it. Cai guessed it! So proud of myself! Yellow is Word - for example spell mississippi, or guess N-----R F----N (hint: ultimate power). I guessed it! See if you can guess it. The other one is --I---I (hint: folding). In the end, Joanne and Cai won!Wacha is located in:
