A quick lunch on a lazy afternoon after MO meeting on Friday with Michelle and Diana in... where else but my favourite Jones the Grocer. Haha just realised I forgot to take a photo of michelle. Sorry girl! Think I'm too post-call.

A new addition in the heart of Singapore - Marina Barrage, the 15th reservoir in Singapore.

That place is such a water place, with many different fountains and also the main dam.

A trip to the east brought me to Kim Choo Kueh Chang (East Coast). With all the hype from the recently ended TCS show The Little Nonya, how can I miss all these out? Despite me watching the fast forward version, meaning I watched from episode 1 to episode 15 to episode 30 (that's how often I work pm/night or just not at home! haha), and Juxiang has become Yueniang without me realising and knowing why, I could still feel the popularity and addiction to all things Peranakan. Being the typical Singaporean, of course Kim Choo Kueh Chang is die die must try! There is a gallery on the 2nd level which sells Peranakan's clothes, shoes, etc. The beaded shoe I targeted is $158! so expensive!

Congratulations to Pinakin and Reena on their big day on 23rd January! Their dinner reception was held in Holiday Inn Park View. It was such an entertaining and heart-warming dinner, from Pinakin's buddies putting up a skit telling the love story of Pinakin and Reena, to Pinakin's siblings dancing for them, then Pinakin's and Reena's individual, then couple dance.

A walk in Hort Park is a good break from city life. Everything is so serene and calm there, like the Botanical Gardens. My new favourite place!

My family and I went to Hill Top Japanese Restaurant for dinner to celebrate my birthday. It was on Jurong Hill and it has a beautiful view of Jurong Island. The restaurant has a Tepanyaki section and that was what we're there for.
