Last Friday (post-night), I went to Middle Road with Ah Ling and Ah Kor as Ling wanted to go to the Guanyin Temple. Ate the coffee shop nearby. As a big sucker for queues in the hope of getting good food, unsurprisingly, I started queuing in Fragrant Sauce Chicken rice and noodle. Both me and Ling ordered soy sauce chicken breast meat. Tasted ok, nothing special. It costs $3, so definitely it's not because of the price that people are queuing up.

One of my favourite ice-cream in a stall in AMK Hub basement outside NTUC - ice-cream shavings with M&Ms. $3.20
Went to Vivocity with Bin yesterday. Settled on this restaurant called Santorini as it's new and offered a big screen to watch Man U match (Bin is a big fan of Man U) and it also had live music. With such great offers, we decided to give this place a try. We were indeed sitting in front of a big screen and Bin was entertained by the 22 boys at the field. The service was soso slow! It took ages for them to serve the food. Coincidentally it came during half time, not sure if it was meant to be. I was introduced to Christiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, where Bin laughed at me for not even having heard their big names. Yah.. the last time I was really mad about soccer was when I was 12, during the Malaysia cup and Tiger cup time. I even went up to Shah Alam in Selangor to catch the semi-finals between Selangor and Singapore. I also have an autograph book containing all the Singapore national players' signatures from 1994, and a scrapbook with all the newspaper cuttings of them during that year. My idol was Michael Vana, before he kelong. Then Abbas Saad and he kelonged too. Then that was it...
Bin too engrossed.
