Today we had a CE lunch gathering. It's amazing how most of us can make it for lunch on a weekday. Haha... the joy of shiftwork. We ate in Choupinette as recommended by Simin. Choupinette means "sweetie pie" and it's a small cosy shop along Bukit Timah Road. Rather popular with the caucasians. Kao arrived first with Liz and I running along. Then Simin, then Kareen. Simin and Kao ordered the Egg Benedict's set ($18+), Liz and I ordered the chouchou set ($20+). My set consists of beef lasagne, ice mocha and macaroons. Liz's one consists of salmon sandwich, juice and creme brulee. Kareen ordered ?friscee salad. The food was overall nice and with the cosy ambience, it made the gathering feel very warm and homely. Thanks Kao for the lunch!
