When it comes to work, one can't help but being superstitious. Especially during calls. During housemanship, it was worse as the phone would not stop ringing. So from obvious ones like not eating Bao to more subtle ones like wearing lucky Bajus, shoes, and even sleeping position like more phonecalls when you lie to the right or to the left. For me, 2 were the most important. One is eating. The moment I eat, things will happen. The other one is the power of Ask and you shall receive. Like my infamous line in CE, "what a quiet morning!".
Bin bought for me oreo cheesecake from The Cheesecake Cafe for night call yesterday.
After a really tiring night call, I met Bin who managed to book out last night for Deepavali. I was fleeting in and out of consciousness. Had lunch in Prosperous Kitchen in Thomson Plaza with his family. After lunch, I LOC for 1 hour and was momentarily revived for dinner. Poor Bin, had to spend his bookout day like that with me. Sleep is definitely my guilty pleasure! As much as I would love to sleep more, but time is definitely more important to me!

I like prosperous kitchen coz its Dim Sum is cheap and nice. We ordered more but no pictures of them, like fried carrot cake, century egg congee, Har Kow, Chicken Claws, Pork Ribs, Chee Cheong Fan.
For dinner, we decided to make a trip to La Petite Cuisine again. Tried the Duck Confit which was not bad, and Foie Gras again! Haha.... so fattening!
