Poor me was on call on Xmas Eve! On Xmas, a little zombified. Went to Holland V with Terence and Bin to collect our log cake from Swissbake. Had Katong laksa for lunch.
Not nice!
This year, my annual family Xmas party was held in Bin's house. We got food from all over - turkey from cold storage, sushi from Sakae, otahs from AMK and Bibik cooked for us beehoon and curry chicken.
Preparation of the turkey was a hussle. We had to put the stuffing, microwave it, warm the sauce and put it on the turkey. Didn't taste as nice!
chestnut stuffing
the turkey $50plus
my favourite wine!

After our presents distributing, Bin and I had a mini lucky draw.
We rounded up the party with logcake from Swissbake. Very choc and nice!
Yesterday was Boxing Day. Me, Ah kor and Anna went to vivocity. A lot of sale!

My green curry - favourite!

On Hari Raya, Bin's family and I went to Vivocity. Went to Daiso to get some lucky draw prizes for my party. Haha..cheapskate! Also dropped by Haagan Daaz for desserts.
Latte $4.90
Desire - 2 ice-cream scoops + 2 toppings (the flower basket is considered as 1 topping) $11.90
The tallest Xmas tree in the world
Yesterday, after work, Bin and I went to Bugis for dinner. Decided to try Ma Maison after hearing about it for so long. It serves Western food with a Japanese touch. Queued for really long before we got our seat. The funny thing is that the 4 Japanese in front of us were still queuing even after we finished eating and left the restaurant. That's like 1 1/2 hours of queuing. The restaurant wasn't that occupied when we were eating. Either they were very picky about which table they want, or they were queuing for fun. Haha...
Sizzling hamburger steak $17.90 - very nice!
Japanese spaghetti - Bin loves it!
We were sitting at the bar counter. The restaurant is like an English cottage and it's rather dark inside.
The key marks our table number which we would present on paying the bill
