Not sure if you all follow up on Wei Wo Du Chun - which is a looks-oriented, not-so-talent-searching competition. But thanks to my cousin Yanqing, I went to Mediacorp for the first time to watch the show. It was quite an eye-opening. It's like watching TV life.

Today, we celebrated Prof Yap and Prof Quak's belated birthday. Cake from Bakerzinn - Chocolate Amber. Happy birthday Profs!

It's been a long time since I visited Plaza Sing. My main purpose there was to go to the scrapbook shop. Went to Hot Tomato Express for dinner. It's at the basement.

Happy Birthday Aud! We went to Ban Leong Seafood Restaurant in Casaurina Road to celebrate. It was rather crowded and this place is famous for their chilli crab, prawn paste chicken and birthday noodles. Overall, it is not as nice as Melben's crabs but it is cheaper and more affordable. Almost forgot to mention, it was featured in 8Days last year to be one of the 50 places to eat in Singapore.

Their signature prawn paste chicken - not bad. the wings are big too.

Chilli crab - the crabs are nice and meaty, the sauce is ok and not so spicy $38/kg (for big) $28/kg (for small)

Today post-call, met up with Cai in Adam Food Centre for Nasi Lemak.

I chose the full house which consists of chicken wings, otah and ikan bilis $4

Then we hopped over to Chopinette to chill and for caffeine.

Last week, Cai and I went to Marutama Ramen in The Central, nicknamed by me to be the "long queue ramen place". When we got there, there was no queue and I had to call Ling to confirm that that's the ramen place. It was a small place with a limited variety in the menu. I chose the Pork Belly and Seaweed Ramen which is chicken soup based $12 and Cai chose the Aka Ramen - Marutama original ramen, the soup base is made of Seven Kinds of Nuts topped with Coriander $15. You can choose additional toppings like seaweed, hard-boiled eggs, etc with additional cost.

The day before, met up with Joan, Cai, Wanting and Lidan in Dempsey's Margarita's. Need to chill out in between my 1-in-3 days call! Quite a nice restaurant and the food is quite yummy.

Appetizer - Nachos De Jaibas Y Chipotle (Crab Nachos with Chipotle) $28 - not bad.

Pork Ribs Ranchero $36 - not bad.

Then, we hopped over to House for desserts. An interesting place which has both restaurant and spa. We bought 3 different desserts. The promotion is that there will be 10% off if we choose 3 desserts.
