My precious weekend has ended and I'm on call tomorrow. Sob... In the afternoon, Bin and I went to anchorpoint's TCC for our caffeine boost and to attempt to study.

Mr chair

Devil's chocolate cake $5.80

Ice Latte mocha $7.20

TCC premium blend $4.30
In the evening, Bin went for the sundown marathon in Changi Village, while I went to join my brother and friends - Puss and Bernard - for dinner. My brother decided on Pier Eleven in Marina South Pier. Good choice, i must say. There weren't many people there though because it's really very ulu and inaccessible.

My favourite part of the restaurant - the very comfortable sofa which I could just sleep on, plus the sea and ships to look at.

Just look at how comfortable we are...

The riverboat which used to be in Sentosa

my only companion for half an hour when my brother and friends were late - red house wine $12

complimentary bread
For appetizers...

flossed soft shell crab $10 - my brother commented that this is the first time he saw soft shell crab as a whole piece. Haha..

carpaccio of fresh salmon with black truffle soyu $13
For main course...

My brother's grilled australian tenderloin , perigobine red wine $32 - my bro loves it!

My oven baked salmon, banito glaze $22 - not bad!

Puss's BBQ baby ribs with cajun spiced sauce $20 - Puss says not bad!

Bernard's garlic sea prawn soba, miso dip - Bernard loves it too!
Dessert time...

molten varihona chocolate, white lava $14 - unique as the inside is white chocolate instead of the usual. My bro likes it but I don't think it's very nice.

Chocolate brulee $6 - unique but not that nice too.

Great place to chill out. The main courses are quite nice, but the desserts are not their strength.Pier Eleven @Marina is located in:
