Bin and I went to the Rider's Cafe for lunch last Saturday because my brother mentioned that Glenn Ong and FD said that you can look at horses while having breakfast. How cool can that be?

It's a rather cool place to have lunch, it's like having lunch in a countryside. It doesn't feel like we are in Singapore. The same feeling I had when we went to Sunset Grill. So sad the horses are all in the stable. so no horse-running watching!

Last week, Bin, Rick, my mum and I went to Borders Bistro for dinner. Second time there since a really long time.

Last sunday, Wendy, Hanping, Bin and I met up for lunch. We went to Melvados cafe which the management said it's the "first and only specialty brownie café in Singapore". Not many people in the cafe on that Sunday afternoon, not bad for a quiet relaxing Sunday lunch.

Their signature Sizzling Brownie Sensation $7.90 - it is served on a hotplate, rather unique but can you see our ice-cream evaporating away?

Bin and I went to Cicada in Portsdown last week. Quite a nice place, quiet and not many people.

Yesterday, Alex and I went to Santa Fe@Riverboat in Marina South Pier for dinner. It is interesting to have your meal on a boat but what a giddy meal it was! The place is very Christian and it was playing Christian songs! So refreshing!
