Mooncake festival has passed and this year my family had fun eating mooncakes, going to Chinese Garden to see the lantern festival and also taking lanterns in Bishan Park.
The mooncakes we bought this year...
Durian mooncake from Goodwood Hotel - I'm anti-durian so my mum ate all of them!
Snowskin with dark chocolate crunchy pearl
Traditional baked mooncake with single yoke
And this year, we decided to go to the Chinese Garden Lantern Festival 2008 - F8 - Hello Kitty Go Races! It is the "BIGGEST CHARACTER LANTERN SHOW EVER IN THE WORLD, with close to 300 character lanterns handcrafted by 106 lantern craftsmen", said SingaporeSights. We went on a peak day, hence entrance fee is $15 for adults and $10 for kids 3-12 years old.
This is so innovative! The kids enter a big ball filled with oxygen and they were then pushed into the water. So fun! But I think I would have burst the ball!
In Bishan Park...
