A trip to the East brought us to Katong Laksa. We were actually on our way to Playground when we took a wrong turn and I also found out that my brother hasn't tried Katong Laksa before. So Suaku! Haha.. So there we were...

Then we went to Ice Cream Chef in Siglap for ice-cream. The same concept as Cold Rock in Holland V where they will blend your ice-cream with topping. We chose the double scoop for $4.50 with toppings of 90 cents each. Not much variety of ice-cream but they had one unique flavour - Kaya flavour! Of course we chicken out. There are a number of toppings though. So sad Brandon insisted on the cheapo hundreds and thousands, but it tasted nice i must say.

My brother discovered another place for Japanese buffet - Irodori Restaurant in Riverview Hotel. Quite a good spread and not that expensive. $33 for adults. but no desserts.

That day, Bin and I went to Chopinette for breakfast. My 3rd trip there but the first time I tried their Eggs Benedict set - delicious! Bin tried their Laurent Set - the scramble eggs is yummy! The set comes with a choice of hot drink AND a glass of fruit juice.

Yesterday, Ling, Cai, Anna and I went to Arab Street to buy cloth and under the recommendation of the shop owner, we decided to go to Cafe Le Caire for some Mediterranean food. My palate has stranger anxiety, so I'm not as adventurous as Ling and Cai.
